Sports world in anxiety over the conditions of the famous pilot who ended up in hospital after a terrible accident: here’s what happened
The world of sport is holding its breath over the health conditions of one of the most famous drivers on the international scene after he was involved in a serious accident that has caused anxiety among all fans.
The sad protagonist of this story is the eight-time world rally champion Sebastien Ogier, currently fifth in the standings in this year’s world championship. The French driver is a true legend of this sport and the news of the terrible accident that involved him left the fans shocked and stunned as they prayed for his safety.
During his career, Ogier has recorded truly extraordinary numbers with 60 victories and 103 podiums in 182 races and in the past he even tried to move to Formula 1 by carrying out tests with Red Bull, then deciding to stay in rallying. At the time of the accident, Ogier was in Poland where he collided with another car, not a racing one, during the reconnaissance before the Polish rally, being immediately transported to the hospital.

As communicated by Toyota in a short note published on its official channels, following a serious accident that occurred during the reconnaissance before the Polish rally, Sebastien Ogier was taken to hospital with the air ambulance and further information will be given in due course. Together with the French pilot, also the co-pilot Vincent Landais and the driver of the other car were taken to hospital for further tests and the entire sporting world is now holding its breath.
Eight-time world champion from 2013 to 2021, Ogier is a true rally legend and fans have been very concerned about his health. The French driver collided with another car, not a racing one, while he was doing reconnaissance before the Rally Poland and the accident immediately appeared serious.
In its press release, Toyota did not want to go too far and everyone was hoping for positive news to arrive on the health conditions not only of Ogier, but also of Landais. In this regard, the rally legend himself reassured everyone with a message via social media: “I had to spend the night in hospital, but I already feel much better.
