Eleonora Giorgi has some moments of weakness

Great host today on Summer live with the actress who, despite the illness, showed herself with her usual contagious smile, her positivity and her energy which, as Nunzia De Girolamo herself underlined, invaded the Rai 1 studio but also reached the public who followed today’s episode, Wednesday 26 June, from home. Obviously a lot of space was reserved for Eleonora’s illness which she admitted precisely about this period: “I’m a bit fragile. I entered a period of fragility. I try not to burden others but I am overcome by moments of weakness”. The actress added that she is satisfied with her career and her life and that if she were to leave she would be sorry for her children and grandson. “If I think of leaving with my children and grandchild, I feel tears of blood cry” he said.

During the interview given to Nunzia De Girolamo in the summer afternoon program of Rai 1 Eleonora Giorgi updating on the disease she appeared with very blonde, tidy and shiny hair. The presenter pointed it out to her and the actress said that “It was revenge” because after six months of chemotherapy, where no hair had fallen out, she recently had to change chemotherapy and now it seems that it might fall out. “So I said they must fall blonde” Eleonora added, explaining that she had the color done recently. Then, smiling in the midst of such heavy news, she said that she is already preparing headbands with fringe and other accessories to alleviate the problem of hair loss.

Nunzia De Girolamo was very happy to have the actress as a guest at Summer Live and thanked her for being an example, for talking about the disease and for her way of being. “There is no great merit. 51 years have passed, how could I avoid doing something public? It concerns a lot of people, unfortunately also very young ones.” the actress said. The latter then added that she hopes that having talked about it is positive. She wants to show the difficulties but above all to hold on and be an encouragement. Regarding the wave of love she received, she then said:

“It was crazy. I was hit by a tsunami, a tornado of love. I’ve been surrounded for months. It was there before but it wasn’t expressed in this way.”
