“This is all shameful. Rivieracqua is managed by incompetents.” These are the words of Mayor of Cipressa Filippo Guasco commenting harshly on water supply failure which is happening at the moment in Lingueglietta, a hamlet of the Municipality.
The upper part of the townin particular, has been dry since yesterday afternoon, generating quite a few inconvenience at the population and ai tourists present.

“It’s shameful that they never carry out checks. Since yesterday afternoon the upper part of the town is without water. Citizens call the green number, but no one ever answers.
Luckily, I have a direct contact with managers and so they arrived last night, discovering that the float in one of the tanks was blockedo. The lack of controls leads to these results: this is the society that everyone wants to save.
Today the water has returned in some areas, but the upper part of the town is still dry. Entire families, elderly people, children and tourists still cannot take a shower or use water for any purpose, including me. I asked them to do some checks today, but I don’t know if they did.
I’ll ask for damages this timegiven that the boiler is probably damaged due to the lack of water.
Yesterday the same thing happened in Moiano, where the tub was empty and they had to pump out water. The problem is that when they fill the tanks they use water from the consortium, but from 1 August 2023 they do not pay and so the citizens pay.
These are the hardships we have continued to experience for years. I am inundated with phone calls. They are incompetent.
