Great weekend for the athletes of the Canottieri Santo Stefano al Mare who won 2 gold medals, one silver and seventh place on the waters of Lake Schiranna in Varese.
Alice Ramella achieved an extraordinary feat with a double Italian success.
In the Senior singles she won ahead of Aurora Spirito (Gavirate) and Susanna Pedrola (Bissolati Cremona).
The encore came in the Lightweight category ahead of Lisanna Bartolovich from Trieste and Elena Sali (Bissolati Cremona). These results are confirmation of the excellent performance maintained throughout the season which, however, is not over yet.
In fact, for her, training will resume immediately between Marina degli Aregai and the Genova Prà basin in view of the World University Championships scheduled in Rotterdam from 3 to 7 July.
Excellent placing also for Arianna Ramella who, after having passed the difficult phase of the qualifications and semi-finals, placed seventh in the A final of the Junior singles.
The silver medal came from Roberto Gotz.
The rower from San Steve who competes with the colors of Canottieri Sampierdarenesi at this stage of the season was awarded the title of vice-champion of Italy in the junior eight specialty behind the hosts Canottieri Varese.
