Virtus Bologna is thinking about next year’s roster and must understand what to do with the Serbian Ognjen Dobricwho arrived last summer from Red Star Belgrade but never fully at the center of the Juventus technical project.
Theoretically he has another year left on his contract, so there shouldn’t be much doubt about his future, but he clearly wants to play a lot more than he did this year and VuNere can’t guarantee that to him. At this point, therefore, his possible farewell with a return to Serbia cannot be ruled out.
According to what we have been able to learn, Partizan Belgrade seems to be interested in the player but at the moment they have made a feeble survey, which is truly uninteresting. However, we know that everything could change in a matter of days.
Much of Ognjen Dobric’s future will also depend on who will sit on the Virtus Bologna bench next season. If Luca Banchi continues to be there, then he will probably still have little space, while his fellow countryman Sasha Djordjevic could guarantee him more playing time, knowing him very well indeed. We’ll see what happens but it’s certainly a situation that needs to be monitored at least until the end of the Pre-Olympic.
