After a difficult year, with two shots in the tank, sporting director Angelo Fabiani wants to continue the youth project undertaken last year. His Lazio is officially being born. There is no shortage of ideas for Fabiani and Baroni, who remain in constant contact, to outline the strategies to be implemented on the market. The shots that ended up in their sights were Noslin and Samardzic, for whom negotiations are well under way. However, the squad also needs to be thinned out with redundancies and players who are no longer part of the technical project.
For example, the new left back can only arrive if one of Pellegrini or Hysaj leaves, if Mandas renews, if Guendouzi has offers, if the many young players leave (like Isaksen and Mandas to raise cash). There is a basis from which to start. But time is running out because there are many moves to be made. Too many to become competitive again.
