Sunday 30 June at 19, Liana Marino will dialogue with the public at the Isnello Belvedere for “Songwriters between the lines – meeting pre-texts“, the format of the project Sound Forts designed by Isola Tobia Label And Mercadante Editore, the latter included in the wider social cultural regeneration project of the Municipality. The event is part of a series of meetings scheduled in Isnello, during which the artists talked about their personal way of composing songs, discovering in particular the literary part of a text. The event is free to enter and participants can intervene with discussion points and questions.
This second block of events follows the initial one relating to the training courses Off the recordwhich took place in October last year with the involvement of local primary schools.
In particular, in the courses with adults we addressed topics regarding copyright, exhibition and organization of regular concerts (in collaboration with the Esibirsi cooperative) and roles in discography, while together with the children we played to discover what there is behind a song – including some percussion lessons – with the participation of the musicians Gennaro Scarpato and Carlo Mercadante.
As part of Fortini Sonori, appointments with: The water lily pondconcerts which aim to disseminate the musical proposals of singer-songwriters in the theater, reopening with the collaboration of the villages, spaces more appropriate to the music of these artists; Agricooltour campus, two days of celebration dedicated to the promotion of music and the territory, with acoustic concerts in rural contexts, games for children and guitar clinics with the aim of promoting artists throughout Italy while at the same time encouraging the food and wine, landscape and tourism of the host places.
The objective of the Fortini Sonori project proposal is precisely to encourage – through a virtuous circuit of localities, villages and towns present throughout the national territory – listening education, the professional training of workers in the music sector, the dialogue and meeting between the public and artists, the valorisation of the territory and at the same time offering space for live performances in small theatrical environments.
In addition to Isnello, the project activities are also taking place in the Sicilian villages of Novara di Sicilia (ME) and Casalvecchio Siculo together with Limina and Antillo (ME) and in the Lazio village of Labro (RI), again with the support of National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 1 – Digitalisation, innovation, competitiveness and culture – Component 3 – Culture 4.0 (M1C3) – Measure 2 “Regeneration of small cultural sites, cultural, religious and rural heritage” – Investment 2.1. “Attractiveness of historic villages, financed by the European Union” – NextGenerationEU.
