Finint Investments, the savings management company of the Banca Finint Group, has signed a preliminary purchase and sale contract for an area of ​​approximately 10,000 m2 located in Via Ponte a Piglieri, in the south-east of Pisa. A new student residence with 372 beds will be built here. The project, which will be implemented through the Pitagora Fund, involves the construction of an ultra-equipped complex on a previously reclaimed area.

The new structure will include a building and green areas equipped for leisure, integrating into the context of transformation and redevelopment of the site, once intended for industry. The accommodation will mainly be single rooms with kitchenette and private bathroom, but double rooms will also be available to meet your needs different housing needs.

The Pitagora Fund, participated by Finint Investments and recently joined by CDP Real Asset SGR through the National Social Housing Fund (FNAS), will manage the construction of the new student residence. The fund, with a duration of 19 years and a collection objective of 150 million euros, aims to create over 2,000 beds for students, researchers and young professionals in Italy. It is reserved for institutional and non-professional investors and public bodies.

The new Pisa student residence will offer not only beds, but also a full range of services, including reception, cafeteria, laundry area, video room, games room, convivial rooms, study rooms and a fully equipped gym, as well as a sports facility outdoors. The goal is to create a sustainable environment equipped with all the necessary services for students, with the design aimed at achieving the LEED certification and compliance with the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle.

Ville Urbane SpA. sold the area and oversaw the transformation and redevelopment of the site, previously owned by the Saint-Gobain company. This initiative responds to the growing demand for student accommodation in the city of Pisa, home to one of the oldest and most prestigious Italian universities, with over 50,000 students.

In recent months, the Pitagora Fund has concluded similar projects in Modena and Padua, adding a total of over 800 new beds in the three Italian cities.
