The mantra of Lorenzo Cherubini, in art Jovanotti, reads: «I think positively». And she never makes mistakes. Finally, on social media the announcement that many fans had been waiting for for a long time was published by the Tuscan musician on his Instagram profile. The singer, having recovered from the bad bike accident that caused him a fractured collarbone and broken femur, made a surprise appearance in Casole d’Elsa, in the province of Siena. Jovanotti thus went on stage at the Festival of the Sun and sang with his guitar, even allowing himself a few jokes.

Jovanotti’s words

«The solstice is the beginning of a new summer, for me this 2024 was a real beginning in every sense, because I climbed the steps of a small stage with my own legs after so many months – wrote Jovanotti on Instagram -. I haven’t recovered everything yet but the road is good and in a few months of work I can do it, and in any case seeing people makes me jump for joy. I made a “hop” to Casole d’Elsa near Siena where the Festival of the Sun is held, the smallest festival in the world, in a large land.”

«It’s the first edition of something that is already unique – he added – The square in Casole d’Elsa is small but yesterday it seemed like the world to me. It was nice to see a microphone in front of my face again and sing about the joy of finding friendly faces in front of me. I saw some of the surprise things that were in the town church and in the square. The festival continues today and tonight there will be one of the best bands in the world (I’m a big fan, it’s a festival of surprises so I can’t tell you who they are, but they’re Canadian).
