Explosion and flames in the night a Sarno. It happened around 4 in the morning when in the area of Moutha loud bang was heard in the outskirts of the city.
An explosion started from a heavy vehicle parked in an area of Via Cimitero Vecchio, the flames then enveloped and destroyed other trucks. On site the teams from Nocera and Sarno plus two tankers for water supply. Operations still underway to cool and secure the area.
The carabinieri of the mobile radio section and the Sarno station also intervened, coordinated by lieutenant colonel Gianfranco Albanese of the territorial department of Nocera Inferiore. Investigations are underway and the possibility of arson has not been ruled out.
