Aggravated embezzlement, ideological falsehood, false expertise due to error caused by deception These are the crimes for which Matteo Minna, the lawyer guardian of Paolo Calissano, the Genoese actor who died in Rome after taking a mix of antidepressant drugs on 29 December 2021, will have to answer. For the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the public prosecutor Francesco Cardona Albini, the lawyer, allegedly tricked him and stole 500 thousand euros, taking advantage of his addictions.
Calissano would not be Minna’s only victim
The lawyer Matteo Minna, defended by his colleagues Enrico Scopesi and Maurizio Mascia, had known Calissano for thirteen years, they were “friends” in addition to the fact that the lawyer looked after the actor as a historic support administrator. According to what was reconstructed during the investigation by the Guardia di Finanza soldiers, Calissano would not be the only “victim” of Minna, but the latter would have taken away 155 thousand euros money also from a woman with addiction problems and 200 thousand euros to three other people. In fact, he would have withdrawn money from his clients’ accounts, transferring it to his company, providing false justifications.

Minna, arrested last year, has been under house arrest since December, with a precautionary custody order in prison and is now awaiting trial. He will have to answer before the judge for aggravated embezzlement, ideological falsity, false appraisal due to error caused by deception because he would have misled the consultant appointed by the guardianship judge of Genoa to examine the asset management and the regularity of the reports presented in relation to the assignments received.
