The accident at Lido delle Nazioni (Comacchio)
A fatal accident occurred on the night between Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June 2024 in Lido delle Nazioni, a seaside and tourist resort in the municipality of Comacchio, in the province of Ferrarain Emilia Romagna.
According to the first information collected so far, as reported by Rest of the Pug, a 39-year-old woman and her partner, a 42-year-old manwere hit by a car on Viale dei Continenti, near the “Ti porto al mare” bar.

The carabinieri and the 118 medical staff who arrived at the scene of the crash then rushed to the scene the support of an ambulance and an air ambulanceand the Aci Soccorso tow truck.
The woman, who immediately appeared in serious condition, was then urgently transported to the Delta Hospital in Lagosanto (Ferrara). However, there was nothing that could be done for her, ed she died shortly after the arrival at the Emilian hospital.
The woman’s partner was also injured in the accident, it reported medium-sized bruises and trauma. He too would have been transported to the Delta Hospital.
The dynamics that led to the death of the 39-year-old
The police forces who rushed to the scene then carried out all the operations findings necessary for the reconstruction of the accidentin an attempt to precisely reconstruct the causes that led to the investment and the consequent death of the woman.
The man driving the car, a 44-year-old local man, escaped unharmed from the accident, but would however have been tested positive for alcohol and was therefore arrested.
The victim was Ivana Ferroni, a 39-year-old woman resident in Comacchio and mother of three childrenwhile his 42-year-old companion is originally from San Giuseppe, a hamlet of the municipality in the Ferrara area.
