Explosion devastates Pievelunga house, 75 year old injured, possibly gas leak
Devastating explosion – In the early hours of the morning, at 7:06, the rescue team of the Orvieto detachment was called to respond to a dramatic accident in Pievelunga di Parrano (TR). An explosion rocked a building, causing significant damage and injuring a 75-year-old woman.
The woman, who suffered several burns due to the explosion, was immediately taken care of by the 118 staff. Despite the seriousness of the accident, initial information indicates that there are no other victims. The explosion appears to have been caused by a gas leak, which led to the near-total collapse of the two-story building.
Currently, the rescue team is working to put out a burning car and to check for other people involved in the accident. The Città della Pieve rescue team is also arriving at the scene of the accident.
