There will be three days, from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June, dedicated to the truffle festival, or “The black gold of Sambuca di Sicilia”. It begins on June 21st at 4 pm with the 30th Italian Music Day: at Palazzo Panitteri with a training course for restaurateurs and gastronomy with free registration. At 7pm, at the L’Idea theatre, the “Maurizio Pollina” musical review with the artists of the “Arturo Toscanini” conservatory of Ribera.
Saturday 22nd the “Romantic night in the most beautiful villages in Italy”: at 11 am in Piazza della Vittoria the inauguration of the fair and the opening of the stands. At 6pm, in San Sebastiano, the conference “The black gold of Sambuca, an opportunity for the most beautiful village in Italy”. At 7.15pm, in Piazza della Vittoria, the show cooking with pairing of wines and Sambuce products. This will then be followed by a performance by the “Gian Matteo Rinaldo” musical band and tastings based on zero km truffles with live music.
Sunday 23rd the “Paths of taste”: at 9am, in Piazzale del Pomo, trekking in the Genuardo forest in search of truffles with trained dogs. At 10am, in Piazza della Vittoria, the stands will open with a truffle aperitif scheduled for midday. A show for children will follow at 5pm with the reopening of the stands. From 7pm onwards the grand finale with the “Zabbinata” with truffles.
