THE PLOT – SOFIA is the character of the cleaning lady that Margherita Antonelli brought to success at Zelig. Now Sofia works for a rich family and is always looking for something that answers her question: “But why complicate your life?” SOFIA, explores this new world, a neurotic, apprehensive, chaotic and multi-ethnic society, in which she finds herself perpetually caught between common sense and anger. She, a simple woman, who also has to look after a husband who has been “unemployed since birth” and four reckless teenage children, warns us that life is not easy in a world that is moving ever faster. Between blunders and micro lessons of goodness, Sofia teaches us that even a humble job like hers can become a school of life. A very funny show, with all the irony and professionalism of Margherita Antonelli, capable of making us laugh until we cry and make us cry until we are moved.
THE ACTRESS – Margherita Antonelli attends the Arsenale school – Teatro del Mimodrama. After various prose shows, she landed in comedy with participation in television programs such as Zelig and Colorado which led her to interpret her leading character, the unstoppable Sofia. He also participates in various television dramas including “Un ciclone in famiglia” with Carlo Buccirosso and Massimo Boldi and includes film participations alongside Luciana Littizzetto in “Ravanello pallido” and Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo in “Three men and a leg”.
