Pavilions of the Longarone Fair not up to standard: fire prevention works will need to be carried out before reopening the doors. Otherwise one of the largest exhibition centers will have to lower the flag. And it is precisely to avoid this hypothesis that an extraordinary meeting of the Fiera di Longarone body will be convened in a few days, i.e. the important members of all the economic categories of the territory.

This tile was not needed, in view of the next trade fair season. A problem to be resolved before next autumn for the Longarone fair body. The closure was imposed by a recent inspection by the Belluno firefighters. Not the entire exhibition structure is affected by this stop: there are some pavilions that comply with the regulations, as do some thermal power plants. However, in other cases, certificates relating to systems, resistance and reaction to fire are missing: they could be compliant with standards but as long as there is no certification it is as if they were not. And so it is as if the entire structure was not authorized in its entirety from an administrative point of view. A safety issue that emerged after a normal check by the fire brigade teams, who continue to carry out checks and investigations on companies and entities working in the province. The reason for not being compliant? The pavilions were built in blocks over the years and therefore subjected to different safety regulations over time. And evidently not updated. The fact is that everything must be brought up to standard, and as soon as possible, otherwise the economic and image damage would be heavy for the Longarone Fair.
