General Assembly of 19 June 2024
Yesterday 19 June 2024, at 6.30 pm, the assembly of the Culture Council met in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Eboli, with the participation of representatives of numerous associations and external personalities who can make a significant contribution to the institutional activities of the the body, as required by the regulation. Speakers included the Mayor Mario Conte, the Councilor for Culture Lucilla Polito, the Councilor Enzo Consalvo, Matteo Balestrieri, President of the Third Council Commission, as well as the members of the Executive Vito Pindozzi, Francesca Scoti, Antonella Limongelli and Damiano Capaccio, and many citizens who as listeners also made their voices heard.
The discussion on the underlying theme was lively and interesting: “Eboli a construction site for culture. Building paths and objectives together with the instrument of participation”.
All those present, in a lively debate, submitted considerations and proposals which were minuted and will form the basis of future initiatives of the Council and the Executive.
In application of art. 14 of the regulation, the assembly resolved to set up study groups, identifying the subjects of interest and the members who will compose them, according to the availability gathered, even outside the narrow associational sphere.
Also recorded were the Councilors Nadia La Brocca and Katia Cennamo and the Councilor. Antonio Alfano.
“In the next few days the work of the groups will begin according to the indications emerging from the Assembly – declared the President Enrico Tortolani – We will widely disseminate the subjects and activities of the groups to allow us to expand the direct participation of those interested and also broaden the topics to be addressed that should emerge from the discussion tables. suggested. We trust with the Executive, and together with all the associations, that we will be able to give our municipal administration and the City a concrete contribution to the cultural and social growth of our community.
The contribution of everyone, especially the youngest, is fundamental to implement the purposes for which the Council was established. All together, no one excluded.”
