Brembio (Lodi), 20 June 2024 – Tragedy in the farmhouse, this morning 20 June, in Brembio, inside theBassanetti company, where an 18 year old boy died. According to a first reconstruction of the incident, examined by the Carabinieri of the Codogno company and the technicians of the Health Protection Agency, competent in matters relating to accidents at work, the young man died after having remained crushed by an agricultural machine, or a piece of it.
It would be about a seeder but, at the moment, there are still investigations underway, both to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened and to ascertain any responsibilities. The dramatic accident occurred in via Cavour. The rescue services, alerted by those present, were immediately activated but unfortunately in vain.
The victim, according to initial information, he would be a boy from the village, born in 2006, therefore only 18 years old. The boy was helped by the ambulance and by an ambulance from the Casale Cross but everything was in vain. The firefighters also intervened.
There was also a 20-year-old boy on site who was not involved in the accident but was taken to Codogno hospital in shock.
