The two-time Olympic gold medalist wants to return to the world championship with Prof. Robeisy Ramirez in the ring on June 29th

The former world champion Robeisy Ramirez (13-2, 8 KOs) Cuban resident in Las Vegas 30 years old spectacular southpaw featherweight he wants another shot at the title before the end of the year.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist Ramirez will return to the ring against Brandon Leon Benitez (21-2, 9 KOs) in a 10-round fight on ESPN, June 29, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida.

Robeisy Eloy Ramirez Carrazana, former WBO featherweight champion, lost his belt last December by narrow margin and with a mocking non-unanimous verdict against the Mexican Rafael Espinoza.

Ramirez-Benitez is included in the billboard which highlights the clash for the superwelterweight title between the WBO champion Teofimo Lopez (20-1, 13 KOs) and the Canadian challenger Steve Claggett (38-7-2, 26 KOs).

The televised opening six rounds will see the nephew of middleweight legend Nico Ali Walsh (10-1, 5 KOs) attempt to avenge his only professional defeat in a rematch against Sona Akale (9-1, 4 KOs).

Robeisy gave an interview to the press at the end of his training session in Las Vegas, a recent training session in Las Vegas:

“-Taking back the world title is my mission right now. Throughout my life and my boxing career, I have always faced obstacles with great determination and this time even more. Inside I feel like I haven’t lost to Rafael but I don’t dispute anything. I erased the disappointment and went back to work.

“I just want my loyal fans to know that this journey is far from over. I will be world champion by the end of the year this is what I want. See you on June 29th. ‘El Tren’ is back!”
