Filattiera (Massa Carrara), 20 June 2024 – The car ended up off-road, ending up on a cliff. Scary yesterday afternoon in the Municipality of Filattiera, due to an accident that occurred along the road leading to the small town of Lusignana. Everything happened suddenly, a 58-year-old lady who lives in the village, was returning home in her car, as she did every day, when she ended up off the road and fell 30 metres. in the woods below. It only took a moment, perhaps a distraction or an illness, and the car ended up off the road, in a point that wasn’t even too dangerous.
Rescue services began immediately, the lady remained alert and conscious all the time. The recovery was very difficult, firefighters, carabinieri, volunteers and the 118 soldiers arrived on site and tried to get out to check on the woman’s condition. Given the dynamics of the accident, Pegaso was alerted and arrived immediately. The area is impervious, wooded and full of trees: intervention with the winch was necessary. First, however, many branches that prevented rescuers from descending were removed.
