The 170th edition of the Soliera Fair starts on Friday 21 June. At 9.30 pm, on the large stage set up in Piazza Lusvardi, the NSMGA, i.e. We Are Not Mica The Americans, will take to the stage (in the picture), the most successful and long-lived coverband of the greatest Italian rocker, Vasco Rossi. The concert is free as are all the activities of the Fair which will continue day by day until Monday 24 June for the feast of San Giovanni Battista, patron saint of the town of Campori.
The program of the Fair: on Friday 21st starting from 6 pm the center of Soliera will be animated by a series of initiatives: in via IV Novembre anyone will be able to compete with Scombussolo’s wooden games, suitable for all ages, not just for the older ones children, while at 7pm Karaoke Napoli will start, organized by the Casa della pizza. Also at 7pm, in the Tigotà car park in via Matteotti, the DJ set will start with entertainment and dinner by Madame Yoyo’s Drag Queen show, while at 8pm, in the Civil Protection stand along via Garibaldi, the new emergency trolley will be inaugurated. At 9pm in the Don Ugo Sitti square, laughter is guaranteed thanks to “Paccottiglia Deluxe”, a show of ‘superior quality charlatanry’ by and with Alessandro Galletti and Francesco Garuti of Circo Pacco. Numerous stands and banquets animated by the town’s associations and scattered between Piazza Fratelli Sassi, Piazza Repubblica, Via Garibaldi, Via IV Novembre, Via Nenni and Via dei Mille, while the Locanda del Tortellone, promoted by the Compagnia Balsamica di Soliera, will find space in via Marconi, near the park of the Nuovo Cinema Teatro Italia. Don’t miss the tortellone tastings for just four euros. Historic cars will be exhibited along via Roma by the Historic Motor Club, while vintage Vespas and motorbikes can be admired in via Rimembranze, curated by the Moto Club Oca Bigia 2. Furthermore, to complete the offer of the Soliera evening, the Gran Luna Park in the via Mazzini area.
