Public meeting with Lucio Caracciolo in Norcia

The initiatives of the Fenice Project come to life, in which the Municipality of Norcia, the Umbrian School of Public Administration “Villa Umbra” and the Umbrian Chamber of Commerce operate in partnership together with the University for Foreigners of Perugia, leader of the working group.

A public meeting with the famous international relations expert Lucio Caracciolo, founder and director of Limes – Rivista Italiana di Geopolitica is scheduled for Friday 28 June, at 6.00 pm, at the DigiPass Center in Norcia.

The Roman scholar and journalist will hold a lecture on the topic: Global conflicts. An agenda for the post-war period, during which he will delve into the hypotheses and nature of the prospects for peace or ceasefire in the current international war scenarios, trying to trace some guidelines along which to order international relations in the near post-war future war.

Caracciolo’s speech will be followed by a debate, in which the public will be able to take part with interventions, observations and questions to the speaker.

The event will be introduced and coordinated by Salvatore Cingari, full professor of History of Political Thought at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, and coordinator of the High Culture Courses working group, within which this initiative, planned and financed, is part of within the Fenice Project.

Fenice is a post-earthquake redevelopment program financed by the Ministerial Department for Territorial Cohesion with a contribution of almost 5 million euros, intended for Valnerina for the creation of an educational and productive internationalization hub, and implemented through training courses on geopolitics, tourism, food and wine, sustainability and digital cultures (i.e. advanced training courses; high culture courses, territorial promotion activities, PhD courses, summer and winter schools), in partnership with the Municipality of Norcia, the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria and the Umbrian School of Public Administration.
