We receive 70 from the Sci Club and gladly publish it.

From the 2024-2025 season, which began on June 1, cross-country skier Ashley Tshanda Ongong’a will compete as a member of Ski Club 70.

Born in 2007 in Subiaco (Rome) with a Kenyan father and a Congolese mother, Ashley has dual citizenship, Italian and Kenyan. Trained by the Friulian Francesco Silverio and a student at the Bachmann Ski College in Tarvisio (she attends the scientific high school), she will be the first Kenyan athlete to participate in the Winter Olympic Games in Milan Cortina 2026. A little girl’s dream come true.

Last winter he participated in the Youth Olympics in South Korea, gaining new and important experiences and growing as an athlete. Next season she will compete again in the Aspirants category, more motivated than ever to improve.
I chose ScI Club 70 because it is one of the most important sports associations in the region and which I was told very well about – says Ashley -. I would also like to thank my parents, who helped and supported me in my choices without forgetting my first coach, Camilla Cignitti, who discovered me and trained me on the snow of Monte Livata”.
