For Warren Gatland the time to make choices has arrived. The Wales coach has in fact announced the squad that will challenge the world champions South Africa next Saturday at Twickenham, in a match starting at 3pm.

In the XV which will see hooker Dewi Lake take on the role of captain, in a front line with props Gareth Thomas and Henry Thomas, the attacking midfield will see an enlarged triangle composed with Rio Dyer and Liam Williams at the wings and Cameron Winnet at fullback, while at the centers there will be Mason Grady and Owen Watkin, with debutant Ellis Bevan and Sam Costelow in the control room.

Among the forwards, known as the first line, there will be Aaron Wainwright as number 8, who will have flankers Taine Plumtree and James Botham at his sides, and a second line made up of Matthew Screech and Ben Carter.
