Friendship (Piemme) of the cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonçaprefect of the Dicastery for culture and education of the Holy See, is the book winner of the XII edition of Cardinal Michele Giordano Award.
Second place was the volume They also killed the children (Ares) Of Don Paweł Rytel-Andrianikhead of the Polish section of Vatican Radio – Vatican News, e Manuela Tulli, Ansa Vatican correspondent. Third place for the text John XXIII and Paul VI (Morcelliana) of the historian Marco Roncalli.
Special volume award Theology in relationships (Citta Nuova) Of Don Alessandro Gargiulo, professor of Trinitarian theology at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy, San Tommaso section, parish priest of Maria SS. of the Buon Rimedio in the Scampia district and dean of the VIII deanery of the archdiocese of Naples. Special mentions for the books Communicating the invisible (New Media) by Ciro Biondihead of the communications office of the diocesan Caritas of Pozzuoli, and The Pope of courage and faith (Ancora) of Mimmo Muolo, Vatican correspondent and deputy head of the Roman editorial team of Avvenire.
The awards ceremony will take place Saturday 21 September 2024, at 4pmin Naples, at the Basilica of the Incoronata Madre del Buon Consiglio (via Capodimonte 13)and will be presided over by the Archbishop of Naples, Monsignor Domenico Battagliapresident of the Cardinal Michele Giordano Award. The recognition has the patronage of the archdiocese of Naples and the Order of Journalists of Campania.
