Cannes Lions, Heineken and LePub win one gold and two silvers for ‘Pub Museums’ in the Outdoor Lions

Lions also for VML Milano, Small and Indiana, Bbdo Italia on the first day of the Cannes Lions. Here are all the Grand Prix awarded on Monday to the USA, UK, New Zealand, Spain and the United Arab Emirates

On the first day of the Cannes Lions, Italy won one gold, four silvers and two bronzes. In the Outdoor category, gold was awarded to the ‘Pub Museums’ campaign by Heineken and LePub Milano and Publicis Dublin, along with a silver. The same operation won a second silver in the Audio & Radio category. The campaign transforms the most historic pubs in the country into real museums with an augmented reality experience, in order to recognize their cultural value and ensure that managers obtain the same economic benefits granted by the government to cultural institutions.

Also in the Outdoor category we count a silver for ‘Make Italy Green’ by E.ON and Bbdo Roma, an installation that makes the lowering of the level of Lake Garda immediately understandable, in relation to last year’s drought, in order to stimulate adoption of green energy solutions, and a bronze for Heineken ‘Laundromatch’ by LePub Milan and Singapore, which transformed 24-hour laundries into places where you can watch Champions League matches late at night in the company of other fans.

In the Pharma category, ‘Not a Lonely Journey’ by Biogen and VML Italy earns a silver. In the Health & Wellness Lions, the ‘Assume that I can’ campaign by Coordown, Small NY and Indiana Production wins a silver (a further silver is counted as a US prize).

The Grand Prix of the first day of the Cannes Lions were won by Spain (Magnum ‘Stairs’, ‘Corner’, ‘Doorstep’ by Lola Mullen Lowe, GP Outdoor), New Zealand (‘Adoptable by Pedigree’ by Colenso Bbdo, GP Outdoor ), USA (Coca-Cola ‘Recycle Me’ by Ogilvy New York, GP Print & Publishing; ‘Magnetic Stories’ by Siemens Healthineers by Area 23 NY, GP Pharma; Dramamine ‘The Last Barf Bag’ by FCB Chicago), UK ( Specsavers ‘The Misheard Version’ by Golin London, GP Radio & Audio). Finally, the United Nations Foundation Grand Prix Health for Good was awarded to ‘Child Wedding Cards’ by UN Women and Impact Bbdo Dubai.
