According to what has been reconstructed, a woman would have asked a friend of hers, the perpetrator of the fires, to set fire to all the cars available to her husband, from whom she was separating in the meantime.
Three fires in three months a Sant’Angelo Romano, nine cars destroyed and some gas pipes damaged. The first fire broke out in January in via Cesi: five cars charred and a sixth seriously damaged, the wall of a building blackened and the glass of a window broken. This is the budget. The second fire occurred on March 3: two cars destroyed not far from Via Cesi and other structures damaged. Also in this case, the firefighters of the Villa Adriana detachment intervened on site. In the last fire, the third, another car, the ninth, was set on fire.
The instigator and perpetrator of the fires have been identified
The Carabinieri of Tivoli and the Sant’Angelo Romano station announced in a note that the tranquility of the small town in the province of Rome, “from January to March of this year was disturbed by three fires which affected nine cars and damaged some city infrastructure, including a pipe from which gas leaked, causing the evacuation of nearby homes.”
The investigations by the Carabinieri have made it possible to identify a common hand and a single instigator of the fires. According to what has been reconstructed, in fact, a woman would have asked one of her friends, the material executor of the fires, to set fire to all the cars available to her husband, from whom she was separating in the meantime. According to the military, serious indications of guilt have been gathered against the lady against her and her friend. Both were referred to the Tivoli prosecutor’s office on charges of complicit arson.
