The second cause of death in Trentino is linked to tumors. In 2021 the total of deaths in Trentino amounted to 5,439 people. 1425 of these died due to cancer.

The sad first place goes to those who died from cancer to the trachea, bronchi and lungs (236). Pathologies often linked to smokers. In Italy, 80 people die every day due to cancer caused by smoking.
