We get to the heart of it. From this evening, technical teams, coaches and jousters will return to compete in Piazza Grande and challenge the Buratto King of the Indies. First day of rehearsals which will follow the order of careers drawn during last night’s ceremony. The test session will open at 8.30pm in the Porta del Foro district, with great anticipation for Enrico Vedovini’s return to the streets as coach. The Porta Crucífera district will follow at 9.15pm, also in this case worth mentioning is the return of Gabriele Innocenti to the running. The third challenger at 10pm will be the Porta Santo Spirito district, led by the new rector Giacomo Magi. The Porta Sant’Andrea district will close at 10.45pm on the first day of testing. The tests will continue until Tuesday 18th from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.
Wednesday 19 June starting at 9.30pm is scheduled there Race Simulation which will see the jousters compete against the Buratto with a single shot, apstarting from 9.30pm. According to the order of careers drawn, the reserves of the four districts will race first, followed by the starting jousters. Thursday 20 June at 9.30pm the General Rehearsal dedicated to the memory of Vittorio Farsetti.
