GIAVERA DEL MONTELLO(TV) – First place at the Montello ballast goes to the team called “BAO”, which takes its name from the regiment which until the 1980s was the precursor of the objective acquirers. You can consult the rankings in the attachment.

The 190 participants, including 22 ANPDI sections and a team from the Folgore Protection Civil Team from Friuli Venezia Giulia, traveled 18.9 kilometres, with a 10 kilogram backpack, crossing some places reminiscent of the First World War. Together with the participants there was a commemorative platoon, which stopped, at a slower pace, at the four places that characterize the route: the Sacrario di Giavera del Montello, the tomb of Francesco Baravìcca, the monument to the £Ragazzi del 99″ and the English cemetery of the First World War.
The impeccable logistics of the organizers welcomed the paratroopers on leave and their companions from Friday the 14th, in an atmosphere of great fun and camaraderie. After the long interruption caused by Covid, this is the second edition of the restart; the growing numbers bode well for the 2025 edition.
