Monday 17 June final day of Borderwine 2024

Today, Monday 17 June, the second and final day (from 4pm to 10.30pm) of the eighth edition of Borderwine, the cross-border exhibition of natural wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia. After the debut on Sunday, crowded with natural wine enthusiasts, curious people, groups of friends and families, Borderwine dedicates Monday above all to operators in the sector such as wine shops, restaurants, bars and hotels.

Appointment in the park Villa Manin di Passariano (Codroipo, UD) with approx 70 cellars, at least 300 labels for tasting coming from the region, from the rest ofItaly, from Austria, Slovenia, France and Germany and dozens of manufacturers food for a food and wine tour in the shade of the park’s centuries-old trees.

Borderwine once again confirms itself this year as one of the most eagerly awaited events to discover the fascinating world of natural wine, thanks also to one always closer collaboration between Borderwine and the FVG Region which, through PromoTurismoFVG and the use of the Io sono Friuli Venezia Giulia brand, supports the event.

The one in mid-June is an eighth edition that maintains the peculiarity of being “borderless”, as demonstrated by the theme of 2024, which remains borderless (brez meja, ohne Grenzen)a value that has always been very dear to the creators of the Natural Wine Show, which is well connected to all the regional programming for GO!2025 European Capital of Culture 2025.

Born in 2016, in fact, Borderwine is an excellence in the Italian panorama dedicated to natural wine. The criteria for being able to participate as producers in the Show remain the same: choice of land, respect for its biodiversity, exclusion of any type of pesticides, additives or chemical or physical manipulation. Producing natural wine for Borderwine means looking to the future not only of oenology, but of agriculture in general, opposing the logic that requires continuous and massive production at any cost.
