Riccardo Costa of the San Nazzaro Motorboating Academy in Piacenza – C&B Racing Team ASD won the first stage of the Italian GT30 Motorboating Championship in Olbia. Also competing is Luigi Baggioli, also making his debut in the category.
I’m really happy with this victory – comments the manager of the San Nazzaro C&B Racing team Alex Cremona – also because we had little time to rehearse. However, the team’s experience put a competitive boat in the water and then Riccardo was very good in practice and in the race. We started off on the right foot, staying ahead of riders with more experience. Let’s carry on like this.
Unfortunately Luigi – closes Alex Cremona – he was unlucky in the first race where he took the lead twice. In race two he started well, then he was fourth and was recovering but the heat was suspended due to an accident. However, I am also satisfied with his performance. On this occasion we collected important data to improve our performance.
