One hundred and ten years and not hearing them. L’Entella celebrated last Friday at Municipality of Chiavari over a century of life and has done so in great style: rewarding the champions present (such as Andrea Paroni) and those of the past (such as Giorgio Piazza and Andrea Paolucci) who contributed to writing pages of local football history.
Friday was also the opportunity to present the book that collects the exploits of the Biancocelesti: «One hundred and ten years represents an important, prestigious milestone, which makes us proud and rightly so our director of communications and marketing Matteo to Gerboni wanted to celebrate it by adding to the volume of the hundred years another volume dedicated to the last ten which I say, without false modesty, have certainly been the most important years of the club because we spent six of them in Serie B – explained president Antonio proudly Gozzi – . I said to our sponsors present at the party, who I will never stop thanking for their support and affection, that if I had told someone in September 2007 when I took the club into Excellence that within 10/15 years we would have achieved six championships in Serie B they would have thought I was crazy. Naturally, professional football is very demanding in all categories and especially in Serie C. However, we continue to carry forward this effort which is not only sporting but also social, because we put 650 boys and girls on the field and we try to educate them not only in football , but also to life, to behavior, to their personal growth.”
