MONSELICE – Serious accident this morning, Sunday 16 June, around 10.30 in Monselice in via Rovigana along State Road 16 at the intersection with via Carpanedo, not far from the border with the municipality of Solesino. A Fiat 500 car was involvedhosted by LA, a 75-year-old from Este, and a Yamaha MTriding which was MP, a 38 year old from Stanghella.
What happened
From the first reconstructions carried out by local police officers, it seems that the car coming from via Carpanedo was intending to cross State Road 16, when – for reasons still under investigation – it collided with the motorbike traveling in the direction of Monselice. The woman driving the car was uninjured, while the centaur was transported in serious condition to the Padua emergency room with the Suem 118 helicopter. The prognosis remains reserved. The operations were coordinated by the local police of Monselice, now tasked with shedding light on the dynamics. Traffic was slowed down for about an hour and a half. Time needed for operators to complete individual activities.
