Razgatlioglu PHENOMENAL in Misano, also wins the Superpole Race! FALL for Bautista

Toprak Razgatlioglu also wins the Misano Superpole Race ahead of Bulega and Lowes; Bautista falls and now sees the afternoon all uphill.

A Nicolò Bulega unleashed at the start of the race and immediately runs away, making two wonderful overtakings on Alex Lowes and Toprak Razgatlioglu, who were unable to do anything against the Italian from Ducati. After a very eventful departure, a long time arrives Iannone caused the fall of Gardner and Gerloff, which fell in the middle of the Sunset Curve with Jonathan Rea managing to dodge them without consequences for the riders on the ground.

The battle for the lead was only between Toprak and Bulega, who overtook each other again and again: the two in fact finished the Superpole Race on Sunday morning in 1st and 2nd position respectively, with the Turk aiming to also win Race-2 in the afternoon, thus winning everything during the Misano weekend.

However, a twist on the fourth lap for the reigning world champion driver Alvaro Bautista, who falls at the sunset corner, risking a lot when returning to the track; after this fall, unfortunately the Spaniard found himself in last position.

The Kawasaki team rider’s performance was excellent Lowes, who placed on the last step of the podium, on the contrary Axel Bassani who finished in 6th position. Great performance from us too Andrea Locatelli, who crossed the finish line in 4th position with his Yamaha, while Jonathan Rea took the checkered flag in 8th position.

THE OTHER ITALIANS

At home the Italians defend themselves well, with Iannone 5th, Danilo Petrucci 9th despite the fatigue due to the injury, Rinaldi 11th and Michele Pirro in 16th position with the Ducati of the Aruba team.
