Trip to Treviglia for maestro Vince Tempera. The reason? The last rehearsals for the show scheduled for Wednesday evening, at the «Don Lisander» in via Manzoni in Milan, with its «From Fellini to Tarantino, with a tribute to Burt Bacharach», in which the composer and conductor will accompany on the piano the voice of the Bergamo singer Marzia Bi, born Marzia Beretta, who is from Treviglio. We obviously meet him sitting at the piano, in a rehearsal break between one song and another.
«These are the songs that we will perform during the evening scheduled for Wednesday at Don Lisander in Milan and we are finishing the rehearsals with Marzia Bi».
«During the evening we will play film soundtracks by famous directors, from Federico Fellini to Quentin Tarantino, as well as a tribute to Bacharach with Marzia Bi who will sing some of his songs. But be careful: she will do it in Italian. Because everyone sings Bacharach in English, while this time we propose it in Italian.”

«Sanremo with Amadeus changed the style of singers and current music a lot. After that, it is wrong to think that there are only young people and that we should focus exclusively on them. There are also singers, say, middle-aged, who can propose their songs. And this is, for example, why we propose Bacharach and Fellini in this show we are preparing: because every age requires his music, as I always say. It’s not just young people and the marketing that revolves around them. Absolutely not. For this reason it is necessary to bring out, like snails after the rain, those who love to propose other musical genres.”

«Well, it depends: Ornella Vanoni recently had to do an encore in Rome and she is 90 years old. So it’s an easy transition if one is successful. But all the current young people have one or two hit songs. Morandi has more than twenty and Vanoni herself has well over twenty. If you collect many successes, over the years you still manage to fill theatres, halls and street parties. Otherwise, if you only have two songs in your repertoire, within a few years you’re gone.”
