The applause of the FVG Region

“The concert for peace directed by Maestro Muti confirmed expectations: an extraordinary event capable of guaranteeing Aquileia and the entire Region great visibility also at an international level. Friuli Venezia Giulia confirms its particular propensity to host large events and important cultural events. The emphasis placed on the young generations, the splendid location and the presence of a conductor of the caliber of Maestro Muti are winning elements, which make this initiative unique in various aspects, both for the tourist benefits and for the strong message of peace ”.

This is the comment of Councilor Bini, present this evening in the basilica of Aquileia together with the Councilor for Finance Barbara Zilli for the concert of the Luigi Cherubini youth orchestra, directed by maestro Riccardo Muti, representing President Fedriga.

Bini complimented the organizers for this event which fully responds to the vocation of Aquileia, which has always been a place of dialogue and discussion between peoples.

According to councilor Zilli, “a message of peace that intertwines the poetry of maestro Muti’s music with the message of the Patriarchs leaves this evening from Aquileia, the cradle of our history. Friuli Venezia Giulia has always been a meeting place for people and cultures, which over time has been able to shape a community in which we still recognize ourselves today and which allows us to draw the lines for the future”.
