The docufilm on the flood “Ho vide il finimondo” produced by Quotidiano Nazionale and il Resto del Carlino and edited by Valerio Baroncini and Marco Santangelo, will open the summer cinema festival at the arena on Monday 24 June, on the occasion of the feast of San Giovanni San Biagio di Palazzo Guidi, whose programming was entrusted to the Eliseo Multiplex Cinema. The film will be screened at 9.30pm (free entry from 9pm while seats last). In the following evenings, until Tuesday 3 September, the programming will be truly varied and characterized by titles that have fascinated, entertained and made us reflect for the winter and autumn, but also by meetings with representatives of the world of cinema and some events musicals by Across the Movies. This summer, after the preview on Monday 24 June, we will start on Tuesday 25 June with the screening of the film ’50 km per hour’, Fabio De Luigi’s latest feature film also shot in the Cesenate area, specifically in the areas of Piazzale Don Puglisi , Villa Monty Banks and in Falconara and Valirano streets.

Following this, on Wednesday 26 June ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, a 2023 film directed by Justine Triet, winner of the Palme d’Or at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, will be screened on the big screen in via Serraglio 20. Thursday 27th will be the turn of ‘The Chimera’ by Alice Rohrwacher and Friday 28th June will be the turn of ‘Poor Creatures!’, starring Emma Stone. The week will then continue with two other recent successes: ‘There’s Still Tomorrow’ directed and starring Paola Cortellesi and ‘Cattivirie adominio’. From 25 June to 31 July there will be ten evenings with guests (also as part of Piazze di Cinema): the meetings with actors, directors and film critics will be opened by Tommaso Caporali from Cesena, performer in ’50 km per hour’.

Music will be a great protagonist with Across the Movies. The premiere is scheduled for Monday 22 July and will be all about ‘Back to o Black’, an unprecedented look at the rapid rise of Amy Winehouse and the release of her album ‘Back to Black’. The event, introduced by Luigi Bertaccini and curated by Monogawa, will be completed by Denise Battaglia’s live performance. Tickets for Italian and European films will cost only 3.50 euros. For the other titles the ticket cost will be 6.50 euros and 8 euros for the Across the Movie events.
