Liguria delle Arti: a summer full of masterpieces, poetry and music

Genoa. The long-awaited review is back”Liguria of the Arts“, a traveling project that combines the discovery of the Ligurian artistic heritage with the suggestion of poetry and music. The 2024 edition, directed by Pino Petruzzelliwill be held from June to August in twelve evocative places in the region, offering the public an immersive and multi-sensory experience.

A journey among masterpieces and enchanted villages. From the very rare sculpture by Luca Cambiaso in Varese Ligure to the painting by the baroque master Gregorio De Ferrari in Dolcedo, the Liguria delle Arti program will take spectators to discover artistic treasures that are often little-known. Visits to splendid churches, oratories and sanctuaries will alternate with moments of literary study, dedicated to great Ligurian authors such as Camillo Sbarbaro, Giovanni Giudici and Beatrice Solinas Donghi.

A multisensory experience for all the senses. Each stage of Liguria delle Arti will be a unique opportunity to completely immerse yourself in art, literature and music. The works of art will be narrated by art historians, while pieces of fiction and poetry will be recited by Pino Petruzzelli and Mauro Pirovano. The music, performed by Eliano Calamaro, by the soloists of the Giovine Orchestra Genovese, by the students of the Conservatories of Genoa and La Spezia and by the singer-songwriter Marco Giudici, will complete the experience, creating an evocative and exciting atmosphere.

An edition full of events. The Liguria delle Arti 2024 program includes twelve evenings, starting on June 21st in Spotorno and the grand finale on August 24th in Ceriale. Among the most significant stops, Portovenere, Savona, Finale Ligure, Camogli, Imperia, Montebruno, Santa Margherita Ligure.
