A ceremony to remember the flood

Thank those who intervened in the hardest days, remember the victims and reiterate the commitments made with the wounded territories. Today at PalaCattani there will be ‘A day to say thank you. Flood, one year later’, a ceremony which will also be attended by the President of the Region Stefano Bonaccini and the Vice President Irene Priolo. There will also be the prefect Castrese De Rosa, the mayor of Faenza Massimo Isola, the representative of Anci Enzo Lattuca and that of Upi Michele de Pascale and the metropolitan mayor of Bologna Matteo Lepore. Entry starts at 9.30am and there are over 2,000 guests.

The event is organized by the Region together with the Regional Agency for Territorial Security and Civil Protection.

The ceremony will begin at 10.30 with introductory greetings, followed by speeches by Sisto Russo (national civil protection department), Rita Nicolini (director of the regional agency for territorial security and civil protection), Gian Marco Desogus (Ercc Liaison officers of the European Commission), Sergio Zaniboni (president of the Regional Coordination Committee of Civil Protection Volunteering) and Dario Pasini (president of the National Civil Protection Committee). The event is coordinated by journalist Marco Bilancioni from Resto del Carlino in Forlì.

The conclusions, coordinated by the director of Qn- Il Resto del Carlino, La Nazione and Il Giorno Agnese Pini, will be entrusted to Luigi D’Angelo (national civil protection department), the vice-president of the Region with responsibility for civil protection Irene Priolo and the president of Emilia-Romagna Stefano Bonaccini.
