PORTO SANT’ELPIDIO – Uninterrupted work, which continued throughout the night and continued this morning, which firefighters, civil protection and companies are carrying out in the areas hardest hit by the violent hailstorm that hit Porto Sant’ yesterday afternoon Elpidio.

Traffic throughout the municipal area was fully restored yesterday evening, the last underpass reopened was that of via Canada. Operations are continuing to remove water and ice from garages, basements and sheds where enormous quantities of materials have accumulated. In the morning, the prefect of Fermo Edoardo D’Alascio and the regional councilor for civil protection Stefano Aguzzi also arrived in Porto Sant’Elpidio.

Among the critical issues to be addressed there is also the disposal of numerous materials rendered unusable by the ice avalanche that invaded various places in the city.

The municipal eco-centre will be open from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6pm. For the disposal of bulky materials, the Ecoelpidiense will manage the calls and a specific ordinance will be issued shortly, after receiving the opinion of the competent authorities. to regulate operations.
