Between a protest and a workers’ strike, the two spouses manage to be saved by Count Grunne. The family is reunited and the negotiations between them and Bismarck are successful. What’s good, ends well, at least for now.

The TV series is nothing but one fictionalized version of Elizabeth’s story, the real Princess Sissi. The third season of the project starts from the proclamation of the Republic in France and the consequent escape of Napoleon III, up to the moment in which Sissi, in the company of her son Rudolf, chooses to escape.
