On the way out, however, she no longer found the bike: it was stolen. The police carried out searches in the area in search of the thief, without success.

And they learned about Anouar’s story. His family is in poor economic conditions and the 13 year old had set aside 1 euro per day to be able to buy the bicycle that allowed him to be more independent and to lend a hand to his parents.

By analyzing the video surveillance images, the investigators ascertained that others had stolen the bike two little boys minors, who, however, despite the searches, have not been traced.

The agents thus decided to make a collection and raise the necessary money for buying a new bicycle to be donated to Anouar, with the help of a shop in Casalecchio di Reno that collaborated on the initiative.

So this morning, Friday 14 June, the 13-year-old was invited to the police station with the excuse of providing some more information to allow the police to deepen their investigations.

The 13-year-old was welcomed by the police who took him delivered a new bicycle brand new, to the boy’s joy and amazement.
