TO Lanuvium the cultural event begins “Villa Sforza between myth and reality”. 16 live shows will enliven the historic residence of Villa Sforza from tomorrow, Friday 14 June, and until next 12 September. The opening of the exhibition tomorrow at 6.00pm with the wise show of the music school “Never without music”.

The venue of the event is the Villa Lanuvina which houses the remains of the temple of Juno Sospita.

The initiative, promoted by Deputy Mayor Valeria Viglietti and under the Artistic Direction of Mauro Ingafù, was financed by the Lazio Region. These days mini-videos, made by local director Alessandro Grassi, anticipate each scheduled show, creating anticipation and curiosity.

“The administration’s will, explains the Deputy Mayor, was to create a program that would allow new talents and already established local and non-local artists to enhance our historic residence with different artistic forms. The contribution of many small fellow citizens who will take part in the event will be important. With the aim of increasing, especially in the younger generations, a spirit of belonging to their community and the values ​​that represent it, enhancing its peculiarities. This initiative – concludes Viglietti – will revolve around the myth of the goddess and the serpent, which will be the subject of different forms of representation, right near the Temple of Juno Sospita”.
