VITERBO – “Profitable and interlocutory” meeting.
This is what the Mayor Chiara Frontini and the entrepreneur Piero Camilli declared together this morning at the end of the joint inspection of the “Enrico Rocchi” stadium and the “Vincenzo Rossi” pitch. The objective was to evaluate the situation of the structures to start the search for a meeting point.
At 12.00 representatives of the Municipality of Viterbo, such as the First Citizen, the Councilor Aronne, the manager Peruzzo, and of the FC Viterbo, including the entrepreneur and sponsor Piero Camilli, met at the “Rocchi” stadium. The meeting lasted about half an hour and then everyone moved a few meters to where the “Vincenzo Rossi” camp is located: here too, a joint inspection of the complete structure.
“The Rocchi pitch needs to be rearranged in the summer and we can play on it again later” – Piero Camilli declared to the press at the end of the visit – “There is nothing left and as a structure for a team we are in the Third Category. Everything needs to be redone: benches, furnishing…”
Perspectives after this meeting? “This week I will talk to my partners, we will evaluate and I will meet with the Municipality. I found a lot of willingness to help us and we hope to find a solution.”
Mayor Chiara Frontini also released statements together with Camilli: “We carried out an inspection together today and we confirmed our willingness to work. Now we will compare and quantify.
In the middle of next week we will update with the accounts in hand and we will be able to provide more details. There is certainly everyone’s commitment to resolving the situation.”
