In Berlin, Bayern was obliged to win at least one of the two matches that would have been played in the capital otherwise Alba would have managed to win the title, having said that, Pablo Laso’s men beat Alba Berlin in a hard-fought match-3 which saw the second and third periods end with the same score difference, finishing 63-67, it had never happened in the season that neither of the two teams on the field managed to reach 70.
This makes us understand how balanced and close match 3 was, played as if it were a battle to the death, you can also see it from the statistics, terrible field goal percentages for both: Alba with 41% and Bayern with 39% , not to mention the three-pointers, 30% for the yellow-blues, 38% for the Bavarians.
