“I am pleased to learn that after my agenda, yesterday the President of the Sicily Region met with Minister Schillaci to whom he officially asked for an exemption from the parameters of the Balduzzi decree regarding the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Center of Taormina”. The lawyer Dafne Musolino, senator from Messina of the ‘Italia Viva Group’, made this known in a post published today on her Facebook page of the same name… at Palazzo Madama in Rome.
Musolino adds: “we remember, however, that the Government, by accepting my budget agenda, has also undertaken to adopt the initiatives necessary to guarantee the full operation of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Department of the Taormina hospital, as an indispensable and excellence in order to ensure the territories concerned full protection of the fundamental right to health according to criteria of effectiveness, efficiency and proximity”.
Musolino concludes: “it is an excellent service, a fundamental and easily accessible structure, so much so that it is also used by citizens coming from Calabria. After this exemption, the Government MUST find the financial resources to maintain its commitment to the Sicilian citizens and I can assure you that I will ensure that the Government finds these resources to stabilize the service”.
