USB Funzioni Centrali workers are mobilizing

PRESS RELEASE

Liguria: the workers of USB Funzioni Centrali will mobilize tomorrow 13 June to say no to Minister Zangrillo’s wedding with dried figs!

Liguria is also mobilizing as part of the demonstration against the Zangrillo doctrine which provides for non-existent resources to be made available for the renewal of the Central Functions Public Employment contract. Thousands of workers who have lost 20% of their purchasing power and will only recover a third of it, beyond the false promises of the Meloni Government. So in fact not only will there not be an increase in wages, but there will be a surreptitious decrease in wages quantifiable at approximately -320 euros for each worker.

But why in the meantime do they find billions of euros for military spending with the prospect of sending us to war without a shot being fired? Not to mention the mantra of evaluation with which they pit workers who provide public services, in increasingly dramatic conditions, against them.

Here are Minister Zangrillo’s effective strategies to keep wages ever lower! Divide workers, progressively impoverishing them. And they call them contractual increases. Today we must say ENOUGH and the workers of Liguria will be in the front row.

While in Rome the initiative will take place under the windows of the Aran, where negotiations will take place in Liguria the workers are organizing themselves in leafleting in the following offices:

Starting at 7.30am.

Genoa:

Customs and Monopolies Agency – Via Rubattino, 10
