A man and a woman aged 40 and 31 from Settimo Milanese died yesterday evening when they fell with their scooter in via Novara, on the outskirts of Milan. According to the reconstruction of the local police officers of the Lombardy capital, the accident was not caused by other means. The two apparently lost control of the 125 scooter and crashed into a traffic island. The 118 rescue and the rush to the hospital proved useless hospital.

The Kymco 125 scooter – probably driven by the 40-year-old – crashed first into the central traffic divider and then, with the two victims already on the ground, into a road sign and a traffic light. Rescued by the crews of two ambulances and two medical vehicles, the man and woman were transported to the emergency room in desperate conditions. During the night the doctors had to give up and both were declared dead, he at San Carlo and she at San Raffaele.
