He kept his word. Luis Alberto already during the championship he had declared his cycle with the Lazio shirt to be over and not even Tudor’s farewell convinced him to stay in the capital: yesterday evening the news of his official move toAl-Duhail. Below is the full note: “SS Lazio informs that it has definitively sold the footballer Luis Alberto Romero Alconchel, with effect from the 2024/2025 football season, to the Al-Duhail club affiliated to the Qatar federation”.
The Spaniard entrusted his greeting to the square to Instagram: “We want to tell you a story. This is a love story. But it was also the day of an arrival, that of the new coach. With a statement published on its official website, Lazio announced that it had hired Marco Baroni as the club’s new coach until 2025. The now former Hellas Verona coach will inherit the bench vacated by Igor Tudor and, even before that, by Maurizio Sarri and he will be the one to lead the new biancoceleste cycle.
